Your soon-to-be ex-spouse is escalating in his/her behavior
Even if your soon-to-be ex-spouse hasn’t gotten physical with you, if s/he is escalating in their behavior – such as if s/he is banging on tables, breaking things, or shouting in your face – then the answer to when you should divorce is, “the sooner, the better.”
